I got a rent invite. What do I do?

Your landlord uses Roofteller to collect rent. The invite shows what you owe and when it's due. Tenant invite page with the amount due 1. Open the link your landlord sent you, and sign in with your email address. 2. Check what's due and when. 3. Set up your Rent Wallet. It takes about a minute and needs your BVN. See How do I set up my Rent Wallet and pay rent? The link says "This invite link isn't valid"? It may have expired or already been used. Ask your landlord to send you a new one. How do I set up my Rent Wallet and pay rent?

You pay rent from a Rent Wallet. It's your own account with PiggyVest. You add money whenever it suits you, then pay your bill from the balance. There's no fee to pay rent. Set up your wallet (once) 1. Select Set up your Rent Wallet. 2. Enter your 11-digit BVN. Your BVN is used to set up your wallet and account number. It's never shared with your landlord. 3. Choose where we should send your verification code, then enter the code. Payments page: Set up your Rent Wallet Add money 1. Select Add money. You'll see your wallet's bank, account number and account name. 2. Transfer from any bank. You can send the full amount at once, or add to it over time. Pay your bill 1. Under Payments, open the bill. 2. Check the amount due against your wallet balance. If you're short, the bill shows how much more to add. 3. Select Pay. Once the bill is paid, it shows Paid. You can select Download receipt, and we'll also email you a receipt. Money stays in your wallet until you pay a bill with it. Anything left over stays there for your next bill.
